Jeannemarie Devolites Davis

Jeannemarie Devolites Davis was appointed by Gov. McDonnell as Director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Jeannemarie will speak about the impact and danger of the Obama administration’s use of executive orders and regulations.

Jeannemarie served three terms in the Virginia House of Delegates and one term in the Senate of Virginia. In her first term in the House of Delegates, Jeannemarie was elected as Republican Freshman Class President, and in her third term was elected as Majority Whip. While serving in the General Assembly, Jeannemarie sponsored over 146 bills that have become law.

Jeannemarie resides in Vienna, VA, with her husband, former Virginia Congressman Tom Davis.

After a short business meeting, invited speakers share information about public issues and ideas for improved government and a stronger party. We seek to enhance knowledge of the political process and encourage women to seek public office. Many volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year.
